Border States Paving is hiring an Inventory/Parts Specialist!

Job Summary: Overseeing parts inventory and maintenance schedules while working in a safe, productive and professional manner

• Oversee parts inventory and order additional products and supplies when needed.

• Negotiate Vendor contracts to maximize profit.

• Processing orders for mechanics.

• Working with the service department to determine what parts are needed for repairs.

• Perform regular audits to ensure accuracy of the inventory.

• Record maintenance requests to minimize downtime for drivers.

• Maintain detailed logs and accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed in the shop or outside repairs.

• Keep up to date with industry trends and update inventory as needed.

• Ensure that safety, compliance, environmental and OSHA requirements are followed at all times.

• Relate to co-workers and the general public in a courteous and respectful manner.

• Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties when necessary.

Experience: HS diploma or equivalent GED required. 2 years Parts and Inventory knowledge is required.

Salary $55,000-$70,000/DOE plus Pension, 401K, Medical, Life, Vision, Dental & Aflac available.
