Border States Paving is hiring an Inventory/Parts Specialist!
Job Summary: Overseeing parts inventory and maintenance schedules while working in a safe, productive and professional manner
Oversee parts inventory and order additional products and supplies when needed.
Negotiate Vendor contracts to maximize profit.
Processing orders for mechanics.
Working with the service department to determine what parts are needed for repairs.
Perform regular audits to ensure accuracy of the inventory.
Record maintenance requests to minimize downtime for drivers.
Maintain detailed logs and accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed in the shop or outside repairs.
Keep up to date with industry trends and update inventory as needed.
Ensure that safety, compliance, environmental and OSHA requirements are followed at all times.
Relate to co-workers and the general public in a courteous and respectful manner.
Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties when necessary.
Experience: HS diploma or equivalent GED required. 2 years Parts and Inventory knowledge is required.
Salary $55,000-$70,000/DOE plus Pension, 401K, Medical, Life, Vision, Dental & Aflac available.
